Recent move to silkeborG (Copenhagen)

Hi all,
Have recently moved from Switzerland to Denmark. It has been a month now that I am living in Silkeborg, beautiful city by the way. Does anyone know if there is an expat community in this area? Still awaiting my visa as I came here with my husband who is Danish , hoping this will come soon. Does anyone have experience with entering denmark on this basis, my plans are to learn the language ASAP, next year I am planning to take up a study in Aarhus.
