Relocating to Cork Co

Hi,
There is a chance my family might be relocating to Cork Co from the US. My husband's office is in Clonakilty, but it doesn't mean we have to live there necessarily.

Our number one priority is schools. We are looking for the best schools in the area (Cork Co/Clon or somewhere in between?). Being that there is not an international school, per se, I am having trouble finding information. I'm looking for a high quality education and willing to pay a little extra, if needed. Also, ease of transition for my kids to the school is important.

Wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and can provide insight?
