What are your best moving tips? (Cork)

My husband and I are moving from California to Cork around April Protected content just about 6 weeks from now. We are moving for his job as he has accepted a position at his company's office in Cork. I work as a freelance writer and graphic designer, so I am lucky to be able to work from anywhere.

We are starting to think about what we will be taking with us and what we will be getting rid of. We are also starting to work with our relocation coordinator to get all the details of moving in order.

What is your best international move advice? What did you get rid of that you wish you kept? What did you pack that you now wonder why you hung on to it? What should I be doing or thinking about in these weeks leading up to our move?

While I am super excited about living in Cork, I am a little nervous about the actual move!
