Dakar airport transfer to City Center

Hi everybody ! I will be coming to Dakar on business for a few days first week of May. I am told and I have read that arriving at Dakar airport and finding a transport into town is a bit challenging because of crowds of strangers trying to get hold of your luggage and lack of regular shuttle service or reliable taxis.
Is there actually a regular shuttle service or other reliable and safe airport transfer ? What is the average fee ? Can transfer be booked and paid in advance online? If not, are Euros accepted on the spot ?
I am arriving in the evening after two long flights and I really do not want to have any problems as soon as I arrive.
