Debate Team: Needs VOLUNTEERS! (Dakar)

WANTED: English speaking Senegalese, Francophone Africans from other countries and Anglophone volunteers for a high school debate team located at Ecole Machala, by the VDN (across from the cemetery), behind City Dia in Sacre Coeur. The students are aged from Protected content have learned English in school but still need help with basic conversational, business and written English. They want to start a debate team and are looking for volunteer coaches for pubic speaking and people to help them come up with suitable topics for a competition to be held with other schools later this year.

Their first meeting is Friday from 12noon to 2pm at the school and they will meet once a month so the time commitment is minimal. They will have a fundraising street fair tomorrow (Tuesday, March 3rd) at the school from 10:00am to noon, along with a Mardi Gras Parade so it sounds like a fun group!
