Lac Rose - Lake Retba (Dakar)

Good afternoon,

Has anyone ever been to the Lake Retba (Lac Rose)? Any tips to share with me about how to get there? Is it better to book a tour with a travel agency or it's easy to get there with a taxi hired for a day? How much should I be willing to pay for either scenario?
