Mail Forwarding Services - Recomendations? (Dakar)

Hello. In preparation for our move I've been researching mail forwarding services. They seem pretty useful. Mail gets forwarded to a centralized facility in the US, they scan your mail and accept packages. Then you can look at all that they have received and decide by the envelope (if it's junk mail) to shred or recycle. Anything that may look more important they can open up and scan the pages. At that point you can see it and take action. Then with other important mail or packages they can consolidate a shipment to you via fed ex or ups. Not cheap to ship to Senegal form the US. but an option if it's necessary. If you are from the US - and using a service would you recommend the one you are using?
