Possibility of moving to Dakar

Hello to all:
There is a possibility that I will be moving to Dakar and wanted to get the feel of the US / EU /AU expat community there. Are there clubs like the "American club" in Hong Kong? A Country Club with swimming, tennis, dining and activities for family and kids?
We have a 14 month girl.
Also still looking for housing and car information. I have seen the Dakar Expat page but very limited.
