Questions/locations/tips/translator (Dakar)

Hello!
I will be in Dakar with my husband from the Protected content . I have been there before, but this is the first time I will be without someone else who can guide me! Can anyone tell me the following information please:
-locations of good patiseries/boulangeries, book stores (French for children), address for clothing stores Soxnassy and Suska

How to know about riding in taxi's and what the appropriate fare should be, and if anyone would like to meet up, let me know!!!

Also if anyone can volunteer to translate?
