Administrative Office Specialist
Description:The Administrative Office Specialist is a qualified, versatile individual who will perform a variety of administrative, training, monitoring functions in a License and Certified Home Health Agency. Requires fluency in both Spanish and English.


Maintains a clean and efficient office environment at all times.
Performs administrative duties independently after proper training and instruction by supervisor.
Provides administrative support to supervisors, managers and other agency personnel as needed and as directed.
Maintains a positive and professional attitude at all times when interacting with agency clients, visitors or personnel.
Is flexible and able to perform a wide variety of administrative support functions. These functions can include, but are not limited to, creating training presentations, writing / creating policy and procedure manuals, database updates / maintenance, creating spreadsheet, creating training manuals and modules, data entry, HealthWyse documentation updates, physician/family communication as directed, answering telephone inquires, mail services and office supply maintenance.
Performs all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures. Adheres to all rules, regulations, code of ethics, guidelines and codes in federal, state and local laws, which are concerned with the practice of physical therapy.
Assisting therapy Director's and therapist staff with training programs for Medicare practice.
Assisting supervisor with training of home health aides or other Medicare practice personnel.
Other support functions as required for a Home Health Agency.

High School graduate, college degree preferred.
Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills. Requires fluency in both Spanish and Englsih.
Over five years working knowledge and use of MS Windows / MS Office Suite software applications required.
Experience in insurance claim filing, patient record documentation and human resources file maintenance is beneficial.
Experience using other software, PC or MAC, applications such as graphics, publisher, QuickBooks, editing tools, Frame Maker, etcetera.
