General advice for newcommers (Dar es Salaam)

Hi all,

I will be relocating to Dar es Saalem in two weeks for my NGO work.

I am seeking for some helpful tips on personal safety.
Of course, malaria is one my biggist concerns because I am really senstive to bug/mosquito bites.
How do you guys protect against malaria?
Any special tips would you like to share with me?
