Moving to Dar-es-Salaam (Dar es Salaam)

Hi there my husband my four year old son and I are moving to Dar-es-Salaam in March Protected content . We would like to be prepared and have a lot of questions especially related to schools, transport and housing.

When does the school term in Dar start? Does it run from Jan to Dec? My son is due to start kindergarten are there any recommended schools?

How easy is it to buy a good vehicle and what type of vehicle is recommended? Can vehicles be imported?

How easy is it to find good accommodation (good realtors) and what are the recommended areas to stay in?

I have so many questions, but this is a start. We welcome any recommendations and information.
