Education for toddlers (Detroit)

Hello there, I just joined the group.
We currently reside in France but most likely we move to Troy/West Bloomfield area by end Protected content early Protected content . I need your advice on our toddlers.

We have two toddlers; 4 yrs and 10 months and 3 yrs and 9 months by the time of relocation to MI. Their level of English is good enough for local schools but just wondering what options are open for them. Any recommendation for kindergartens in an international environment?

I expect it to be a bit more limited in the area we will live compared do Detroit; we will need to live around Troy, as my husband's office will be there.

I never lived in this area in the U.S. Is it a "mixed" community? Would love my children to be in a good mix of population.
