My LDR love lives in Bangladesh and I am planning to travel there to marry him. I'll be staying there for at least five years . it is hard to find travel information on Bangladesh as it is not a popular tourist destination. ▪Is the tap safe to drink or is it best to stick with bottled water ?

▪ Should I brush up on some Bengali or can I get around just fine speaking English ?

▪What does a plane ticket from Winnipeg to Dhaka cost roughly ?

▪ Is it safe for women to roam the streets of Bangladesh by themselves?

▪ Is there a dress code?

▪Is there anything happening in Bangladesh that I should be aware of ?

▪ Do foreign debit/credit cards work in ATMS?

▪ What is the typical cost of food, rent and other expenses per month?
