Moving to Dhaka

We are planning to move to Dhaka soon. We plan to take our personal effects ( clothes, furniture, curios, TV etc) but understand that if we not go there on a diplomatic visa, the duty costs are prohibitive even for such used stuff. Appreciate if someone can guide us on this matter.
