Anyone going to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix?? (Doha)

I am driving to AD on the 1st November, does anyone have experience of driving the route, that could share any pearls of wisdom.
I know I need to sort out exit visas for KSA & AD, and vehicle insurance - is there anything else I should consider? What are the roads like?

I might have space for 2 other passengers, but will know within a couple of weeks. We are planning to get a hotel for a couple of nights on Friday/Saturday and travel back after the race.
