Disappearing threads (Doha)

I don't know if this is an InterNations glitch or user error, but I notice that a lot of posts and threads disappear from Doha Town Talk. In particular, there was a thread about a group trip to the Inland Sea, and most recently, a post about a Polish Culture group.
Anyone have any ideas in the Mystery of the Disappearing Threads?
