Dog owners in Qatar (Doha)

Hi, I am planning to move to Qatar in the next months and I have questions regarding life with a dog in Doha. I've read that Doha is not a pet friendly city in general, but I was wondering how big is that, I mean, would it be a problem for me to eg. walk my dog?
