Doha Lawn Bowls Tournament

We are delighted to announce that an exciting new sporting event is taking off in Doha and we are looking for potential players to have the chance to take part.

On September 10th, Protected content first ever Open Lawn Green Bowls competition will take place, at Doha Golf Club. This is one of the fastest growing sports on the globe and Doha currently has the only Bowls Green in the Middle East.

The format – teams will consist of four players (can be mixed) and all equipment is supplied.

The competition is limited to 24 teams of four and will be run in a knockout format, with the final taking place in the late afternoon. There will be a buffet and prize giving to follow.

The event is being sponsored by QBI and is a pre-cursor to the new Doha Lawn Bowls league, which starts the following week.

Every competitor will receive a commemorative medal for taking part and the event will be contested on an annual basis.
