Hints about Doha

Hello! During the next July I will live in Doha with my husband and our baby of 19 months and I am a little apprehensive because I don´t know anyone there and don´t know the local customs ... does anyone can give me some hints about the type of clothing that I shoud take to Doha? customs, etc? And anyone knows if
there is a Portuguese community in Doha?
