Specific Requirements
Education: . BS/ in an Engineering discipline (Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree preferred)
Required Work Experience/Skills:
Protected content successful experience in Quality Engineering disciplines
Manufacture speed control product for electric motors, larges motors Protected content power, not required but a plus.
Other requirements in priority:
1 Experience working with, managing, and resolving supplier issues.
2 Ability to travel up to 15% including international travel.
3 ASQ Certification preferred
4 Proven ability to effectively manage customer and suppler relationships
5 Proficient in MS Office and MS Project, Microsoft MS Office
Primary Responsibilities: .
-Quality Engineer will assist with analysis of manufacturing process; identify weakness and recommend improvements. Will
facilitate improvements with measurable results. Work to reduce monthly (internal and external) non-conformance cost. (exp:
warranty, re-work, etc.)
- Ability to analyze problems and develop corrective action
- Perform internal and supplier quality system audits.
-Write complex 8D analysis reports for customer distribution. Analyze, gather, and translate technical data into a
customer/commercial focused report.
- Work with suppliers to analyze and resolve quality related issues.
-Work directly with customers to resolve product performance Issues.
- Ability to effectively coordinate with other engineers, mangers, and senior level staff in the areas of sales, quality, application /
development engineering, and production.
- Experience with ISO9001: Protected content equivalent quality systems
General Requirements

Analyzes complex production and quality trend data to identify and solve problems. Devises sampling procedures and designs
and develops systems for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data. Perform economic implication analyses,
prepares reports of findings and carries out complicated implementation and training assignments. Completes and maintains
quality inspection programs for incoming, process, and final approval material and product inspections. Conducts complex audits
and/or surveys to determine acceptability of quality controls.

Education:

assignments. Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of
specialization. Demonstrates knowledge of organizations business practices and issues. Typically Protected content of successful
experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced
degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.

Provides general guidance or train support and/or professional staff.
