In case you break a housing contract ? (Doha)

hi Guys,

do you know how does it work ? if you sign a one year contract, giving out 12 cheques Protected content for the refundable deposit (which is cashed right away, i heard) any idea what happens if you decided not to fulfill the contract ? let's say after half the period at least ? is there a general rule ?
