moving pets to Doha

Hi .. hubby and I will be moving (for work) out to Qatar in the next few months with our dog - does anyone have experience of shipping a pet out to Doha? Any advise on shipping companies etc.. would be much appreciated!! Am quite nervous at bringing her out there - are there places around that allow dog walking etc..>? thanks in advance!
