Moving to Qatar (Doha)

Dear Doha Community,

from May onwards I will be assigned to the Middle East for sales & business development activities which I have done so far from our office in Singapore.

The assignment will last 6 months and might be extended afterwards to a longterm placement in UAE or Qatar. My problem now is to find accommodation (not considering property purchases) for 6 months. I would be very glad if someone has some ideas (or a place themselves) for 6 month accommodation, e.g. Serviced Apartments, Flat rentals, etc.

So far I am only able to see places which have to be rented for 1 year!?
