Moving to Qatar (Doha)

Hi everyone,
Hope you're doing well. I will be moving to Qatar soon on a makeup artist job with a reputed company. Just wanted to know the most important points you guys can give me on moving.
Also how expensive is iphone and Macbook when compared with the USA prices? Looking to upgrade both so was wondering if I should buy before or after landing in Qatar?
