Picking personal shipment up from Doha port

Hi,

I have a really reasonable quote to get a pallet of personal effects over from the UK to Doha port, we move in a month and wondered if anyone has any idea on whether it's easy to go and get the items myself once we arrive or whether it's easier to engage a Doha courier to fetch from the port and deliver to the villa?

The company I'm using don't have an agent in Doha to do the last leg of the journey but obviously don't want my stuff getting that far then being in limbo in the port. There will probably be car seats on the pallet that I will need pretty much as soon as we arrive.

Any help greatly appreciated.
