potentially moving to doha (Doha)

I have been offered a terrific package to come to work in Doha. my wife is extremely nervous about living in an arab country. the u.s. department of state travel site is very negative siting security risks, dicey police, and the ability of an employer preventing you from leaving the county.

i'd appreciate any and all comments about your experience in doha
