Georgetown University SFS-Q is now recruiting for two roles:
Project Manager (Part Time)
Locally based candidates only. This is a non-sponsored position that requires all applicants to already have family based sponsorship to live and work in Qatar.
Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar together with the University College London, Qatar University and the University of Oxford is the recipient of a research award from the Qatar National Research Fund to investigate the legislative, judicial, institutional and discursive effects of the ratification of international human rights treaties by the GCC member states. The Project Manager is expected to provide administrative support to the overall administration of the research grant (up to 2 years). The role requires both excellent administration skills and a solid understanding of the project research cycle. The successful candidate has the challenge of carrying out both short term and long term planning activities and carrying out diverse tasks in relation to the smooth running of the project. She/he should have the ability of working towards immediate and long-term deadlines and show initiative.
Student Wellness Counselor (Temporary)
Georgetown University School of Foreign Service – Qatar (SFS-Q) has an immediate need for a Student Wellness Counselor. This position is temporary in nature and the assignment is of indeterminate length. This person will report to the Associate Director of Student Counseling and Wellness. The need is for full-time help. However, depending upon the individual and their background, the hiring manager is also willing to consider a part-time schedule.
