thinking of having albatross membership (Doha)

Im not really new in Doha I been here for 3years this Nov. Im New in internations I join because im looking for New job, which is I found job forum interesting,I have no idea what is al about, then I search I found some intersting activities for expats,that I love to join coz I been just working and home, how ever it says I need to be albatross member in ordered to join anygroup, interesting but im thinking if I upgraded it what am I really paying for? Just to get access to all events and groups activities thats what I think. :-/ confused
