Transportation in Doha

Hi everyone , My husband just moved to Qatar yesterday after getting a job offer in Doha . He will need transportation from and to the company's office and a taxi driver offered to drive him everyday to and from work for Protected content . It's a half an hour ride and he is not sure whether this is a good deal . He just settled in and doesn't even know anyone yet to get some advice .
He will need to get a Qatari Driving licence as his Tunisian one is not valid in Doha , and this , we believe , can take some time . Any information would be highly appreciated !
