Bio:
Dr. Naseem Rashid – an American citizen - received her Master's Degree in Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from George Washington University, USA. She is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, UK and an honorary Fellow of the College. She is also a member of several professional societies in the United States and abroad.

Dr. Rashid has more than 15 years of experience working as a consultant in different countries including Saudi Arabia, Oman, UAE and Malaysia. Before joining Al-Ahli Hospital, she was a Clinical Associate Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the International Medical University, Malaysia. She took part in international health projects involved in clinical maternal and child healthcare notably that of the United States Department of Health and Human Services project in Afghanistan. She had worked in the Caribbean, South Pacific Ocean Island and was invited to develop the Obstetrics and Gynecology department in a hospital in Bangladesh.

Her field of expertise includes management of high-risk pregnancy, pregnancy complicated with diabetes, obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound and basic infertility and laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Rashid currently works as a Consultant Obstetrician Gynecologist – Community Physician for Al-Ahli Hospital.
