Work experience for a chemistry student (Doha)

Hi I'm trying to help my friends son who is a second year forensic chemistry student in the UK. He is trying to gain some chemistry experience this summer to enhance his cv when he graduates next year. Does anyone have any ideas of people/companies he could contact?
