Coffee Shops to read and work? (Dominican Republic)

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if any of you can recommend a caffe, coffee shop or some place semi-quiet (the quieter the better) where one can go and read, do some work etc in Santo Domingo. I've tried many places but they are simply just too loud and if anything I'm the odd one there trying to read a book or work on something. I know there's no Starbucks here but or Costa but there has to be a place for that. Any suggestions?
