The Visit (Dominican Republic)

Hey all! I'm visiting the Santo Domingo area this coming Wed Protected content . Doing some scouting to determine if the Dominican Republic is the place I want to call home. Any suggestions on things to do, places to visit, night life, etc would be greatly appreciated. I'll also be visiting the Sosua area while i'm there. Any advice? Thanks in advance everyone.
