Hurling - Irish Sport in DD - Join us (Dresden)

Hi Guys,

Do you want to play Hurling or Gaelic football?

Both are ancient Irish sports and in Protected content Gaa Club was founded.
Gaa stands for the Gaelic Athletic Association, an Irish amateur sport organisation.

We play both Hurling and Gaelic Football every Friday here in Dresden and during the season (Feb. - Nov.) we travel to some European cities (Den Haag April 28th, Zurich May 24th, Luxembourg June 28th & Brussels August 2rd.) for a weekend to play other such clubs in a tournament, with a party afterwards.
The club was set up mostly for the social aspect with a little fitness and sport, so its nothing too strenuous.
Equipment and coaching is provided, so we're looking for both men and women, girls and boys, grandmothers and grandfathers from beginners to pros. If your not the sporty type but wish to hangout, support, organise that would be very welcome too. We train on Fridays at 19.00 in the Sportpark Ostragehege (rugby field). and Sundays during the Autumn / Winter months.
We also go for an 8km run along the Elbe every Tuesday. Your welcome to join that too.
