A Londoner coming to Dubai next month.

Hi guys,

I am moving from London to Dubai next month for work and I am wondering what there is to do at weekends.

My hobbies include Snowboarding, Rock Climbing and I enjoy eating and socialising.

I am staying next to Dubai Internet City Metro Station 2.
What should I not be missing? What is the best way to get acquainted with the expat community in Dubai?
