Art Therapy International Centre (ATIC) in Dubai is expanding, with a range of arts therapies, available for the first time in the UAE. Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy where the expressive arts is the main form of expression.
We are pleased to welcome Rosemary Henry (MUSIC THERAPIST) and Nada Abu Qaoud to the ATIC team.
Rosemary graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Music from the University of Ulster in June Protected content , having previously completed her BMus (Hons) at the same university. She continued her postgraduate studies at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, graduating in June Protected content a Master of Arts in Music Therapy. Rosemary is a member of the Health Professional Council, under the Arts Therapist Register and a member of the British Association for Music Therapy (BAMT).
Nada is Palestinian Canadian, currently lives between Montreal and Dubai. Nada was raised in the Middle East where she finished her university in Jordan with a bachelor degree in fine arts before moving to North America to pursue her higher education from Concordia University. Nada is currently sitting for a Master Degree program in Art Therapy in the USA. She is a registered member at the American Art Therapy Association (AATA) and is fluent in English and Arabic and conversational in French.
Arts Therapists are trained to Masters level and above.
