Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the development of business in the MENA Region. Liaising with the management team, the business development manager will be responsible for achieving the set targets. Based in Dubai, the business development manager will be required to travel to the assigned countries.

• Planning & execution of sales in the MENA Region.
• Responsible for heading up their expansion in new markets as well as continued expansion among existing clients
• Building relationships with existing clients in an attempt to increase their current spend
• Drive peak performance and sales success across the organization
• Create, negotiate and close commercial agreements
• Preparation of business development plans by assessment, market evaluation, market research, financial evaluation etc
• To submit weekly work in progress reports and ensure data is accurate for real time reporting
• Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, products and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales

• University Degree in Business Administration or similar
• Fluent in Arabic & English
• 10 years of business development experience in the MENA Region
• Demonstrated sales management experience preferably in Logistics, FMCG or similar
• Good contacts and business relationships in the MENA Region
• Ability to travel in the MENA Region
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure with a “can do” attitude
• Ability to communicate with clients & customers and manage expectations
