Cheap flight tickets (Dubai)

Hi All

Does anyone have any tips on where or how to get cheap flight tickets?

Part of our plan to come live and work in Dubai was to also do plenty of travel as it is central, but the tickets prices here seems expensive, well at minimum on par or slightly cheaper of what you would get elsewhere.

Am I missing a trick here?
any advice or suggestions are welcome.
