Learning Urdu (Dubai)

Good Evening all,

I have seen some courses to learn Urdu here in Dubai, and I noticed they are much more expensive than other languages. I work here in Dubai, and sometimes feel the need to learn Urdu, especially when dealing with labor; though I have not seen it as a key factor that will make work better.
Any thoughts on how is this language important here in the UAE?
