Living in Dubai for an Indian Expat

Hi friends

I am a 35 year old Software Engineer currently residing in Bangalore, India. I have an opportunity to work in Dubai Internet City, Dubai. would like know you views on following things:
- how easy it is to adapt to Dubai conditions especially when i have a 7.5 year old son
- how are the education things in Dubai for Indian kids...
- how much is the rent + other necessary things for a family ?
- scope of saving money in Dubai
- i have an experience of 12 years in Software field ... so how much can i expect as remuneration...

i m just try to get a perspective to make a better decision ...

any comment/suggestions are welcome ...
