New to Dubai - looking for a place

Hi,

I am very new to Dubai about 4 weeks old and my company provided me with a hotel accommodation for upto 8 weeks, i have been asked to look out for a house and the company will provide me with the rent allowance.

I have been approved for an amount of AED 8,000 per month plus furniture allowance of AED 30,000 per annum.

Is this amount sufficient for a 1BHK in Dubai? If yes what area? I want to be moved to a good neighborhood, i dont mind the Burj Khalifa area even if i need to pay extra from my own.

Im not sure where i could get furniture for this amount, is it sufficient?
