One night in Dubai - how to feel the city

Hello everybody,

I will be in Dubai just for 1 night (stop over, arriving at about 10pm on 20 August and departing around 9am the next day). I have never been to Dubai, so it would be stupid of me to go to sleep. Could any of you advise what I could do: clubs, places to go, etc.

If you have a good piece of advice, please do not hesitate replying here in forum or wiriting me a personal message.
