Pediatric First Aid training for parents & nannies (Dubai)

We have recently launched the first community child injury prevention & Pediatric first aid programme in the UAE to be endorsed by Dubai corporation for ambulance services/HAAD and DHA. The programme is tailored to parents in Arabic and English, designed to tackle the high volumes of unintentional injuries and to educate parents with the best practice on how to respond should an incident occur whilst considering cultural and language factors of the region.

Our programme for home help educates nannies on creating a safe environment and basic skills of first aid (Filipina/Sri Lankan/Arabic/English/Indonesian) Pediatric first aid books included

We are working closely with government departments in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi but keen to seek other platforms to reach the communities across the UAE.

Our programmes are supported by experts from the UAE University and our medical advisory board is supported by Dr Taisser Atrak (Chair of Pediatrics Mafraq Hospital) and Dr Omar Al Sakaf (Head of the medical committee Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services)

Our ultimate goal is to see such programmes extended to all parents across the community and provide subsidised funding for low income parents.
