JOB DESCRIPTION – Procurement Manager
Working Tasks │ Job description
• Responsible for inquiries
• Commercial evaluation of quotations
• Negotiations with potential suppliers
• Preparation of the project-specific purchase contract sample according to client contract and in cooperation with project team
• Completion of purchase contracts / purchase orders with suppliers
• Supervision and control of the project’s purchasing budget and time schedule of deliveries
• Invoice approvals
• Compilation of purchasing statistics
• Supplier assessment
• Claim management
• Monitoring the market (trends, regulations) and the development of acquisition strategies
• Establish, maintaining and improving supplier relations
• Participations in trade fairs, exhibitions, etc.

Requirements
• Knowledge about medical equipment and technology market (Medical Equipment, Hospital Technology, Mechanical & Electrical) and the respective international manufacturers and local distributors
• Languages: English (German additional value)
• Ready to travel occasionally
• Work experience in this field: Protected content
• Higher economical or/and technical education
• Negotiation skills and perseverance
• Used to work with IT tools
• Knowledge of gulf business culture
• Additional assets:
Basic legal understanding and contract preparation know-how
Know-how in logistics
