Remuneration - 14 year experience - Software (Dubai)

Hi guys

i currently am negotiating an opportunity with a US based company which has a office in Dubai. I have 14 years of experience in software field. And the new role will be that of a consultant in their Dubai office.

I will be relocating to Dubai if i accept their offer. with me i will have my wife and my son who is 7 year old.

Keeping in mind the home rent + education + household costs in Dubai - how much can i ask them for ? Can anybody provide a bench mark or a baseline keeping in mind my experience level.

i will highly appreciate if some of you can please give me some pointers or your suggestions here
