Setting up as a Freelancer in Dubai

Hello

My name is Terry and I am looking to move to Dubai in the coming months and setting myself up working as a Freelancer. I just wanted to see if anyone out there can recommend or offer any advice. I have contacted some of the media free zones, but so far have not heard back from them.
My field of work will be as a 3D artist but also other 2D related art from mobiles and games
Can anyone recommend a media free zone and also what are the costs in setting up? and a rough time frame.
I believe they they provide sponsorship to, but can you still work from home or do you have to work in the media zones?

I would be most great full if anyone can give me any advice.
