Tennis classes or practice (Dubai)

Dear expats,

I am looking to have some tennis classes for beginners and also for access to tennis courts to do some practice and play with friends.
I checked with Meriden hotel and ritz carlton but they say you need yearly membership to the whole club and not only tennis.
This is quite expensive especially that I am interested in tennis only. Same thing in JBH hotel!

Do you have any other alternatives either for classes or practice?
