The Tragically Hip (Dubai)

As part of the Man Machine Poem Tour, The Tragically Hips last tour, the band has partnered with the CBC to broadcast the August 20th show live from Kingston, Ontario.

CBC is broadcasting and streaming this commercial-free show on Saturday, August 20th at 8:30 p.m. ET across CBC Television, CBC Radio One, CBC Radio 2, CBC’s YouTube channels, and CBC Music.

I was wondering if the Canadian expat community (and all Hip fans of course) would be interested in attending the live stream of the concert at a nice venue in Dubai (venue tbc)?

I mailed this suggestion to the Canadian Embassy in Dubai this week. Am awaiting their reply. But if there's a keen interest from the community, we might be able to speed up things.
