Summary:
The GSEA (Global Student Entrepreneur Awards) is the premier global competition for high school, undergraduate and graduate students who own and operate businesses while attending college or university. Nominees compete against their peers from around the world. GSEA supports early-stage student entrepreneurs who require much needed mentorship, recognition and connections to take their businesses to the next level of success. The GSEA Coordinator provides operational support to all activities, member leaders, students and non-members associated with GSEA. This position is the engine that ensures everyone is where they need to be, with their materials, ready to execute, at every GSEA function.
The GSEA Coordinator also drives the health and growth of the program within EO by providing tactical support GSEA chairs, promoting GSEA to member leaders and maintain all training and promotional materials.
The role supports the GSEA Subcommittee with scheduling calls, taking notes, tracking actionable items and providing weekly reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Local/Regional Competition Management
o Provide tactical support to all local GSEA chairs and planning committees Protected content
o Track all student applications in master spreadsheet (soon to be online)
o Source applicants for all competitions as needed
o Maintain Judge's tracking list
o Confirm all competition dates and maintain global calendar
o Send weekly reports to planning committees with the number of applications they have for each event
o Develop and update all necessary collateral to promote and run GSEA locally.
o Identify target chapters to host competitions to grow the program
o Liaise with all partner organizations running GSEA competitions.
o Coordinate GSEA competitions in conjunction with Chapter Launch locations.
o Research and maintain a list of Universities interested in promoting GSEA.
o Create and assemble judges packets and name badges for all North American competitions
o Travel to EO and partner conferences to represent and promote GSEA as needed
o Moderate competitions on site as needed
• GSEA Sub-Committee
o Take notes on Sub-Committee calls and provide administrative support as needed
o Track progress towards goal and maintain an up to date dashboard in the form of a weekly email
o Manage GSEA Path to Leadership process
• GSEA Global Finals
o Finalist confirmation and communication.
 Book and track all flights for Global Finalists and manage visa requirements
• GSEA Communication
o Provide content to be included in EO Publications promoting GSEA
o Provide necessary content for funding proposals, white papers, and GSEA presentations
o Liaison for contracted PR company, providing student bios and contact information for all competitions

Education and/or Experience:
Required:
Bachelors’ Degree
3+ years of experience in event and/or program management
Experience managing multiple projects/priorities in a service environment
Experience working with other cultures/countries
Preferred:
Experience working with member/volunteer leaders
Membership association experience
Familiarity with entrepreneurship and working with college students
Ability to speak a second language
